AI & The Client Experience
AI Should Make Luxury More Human, Not Less
AI can give advisors more time and better insight. Used well, it strengthens the human relationship at the heart of luxury rather than replacing it.

Luxury brands face a real tension with AI. Clients want speed, convenience and relevance, yet they buy luxury in part for the human touch: judgement, taste, discretion and care.
McKinsey’s work on human-centred luxury experiences in the agentic age frames the opportunity as augmenting, not replacing, the people who serve clients — using AI to anticipate needs while preserving the emotional value of the relationship.
Practical uses are already within reach: summarising a client’s history before an appointment, suggesting thoughtful follow-ups, translating messages for travelling clients and freeing advisors from administration.
The best use of AI in luxury is to give people back the time to be personal.
The risks are equally real. Generic, automated messages erode trust quickly, and clients expect their data to be handled with discretion. Every AI-assisted touchpoint should still feel like it came from someone who knows them.
Adoption is a people challenge. Advisors need training, confidence and clear guardrails, and leaders need to model how AI supports rather than monitors the team.
Through our partnership with MindHug, Haus of Amber supports AI adoption that sticks — combining behavioural change with practical clienteling skills.
